Nagoya International Airport:
By direct Airport-bus bound for Toyohashi from Nagoya International Airport, it takes 110 minutes to Toyohashi. The bus arrives at the foot of a pedestrian bridge of the East exit (Higashi-guchi) side. So please cross the bridge and go through the station to the West exit (Nishi-guchi), and you will find the Hotel Nikko Toyohashi bus stop.
By Airport-bus bound for Nagoya station, it takes about 30 minutes. Then, you change to Meitetsu-line train or JR train to Toyohashi. It takes about 50 minutes by train.
Kansai International Airport (Osaka):
By JR Train, Haruka, it takes 30 minutes to Shin-Osaka. You take Shinkansen Express, Shikari, to Nagoya, then change to Shinkansen Express, Kodama, by Toyohashi. It takes 2 hours. The faster trains, Hikari and Nozomi do not stop at Toyohashi.
Narita International Airport (Tokyo):
By JR Narita Express, it takes 1 hour to Tokyo Station, and takes Shinkansen Express, Kodama, to Toyohashi. It takes 2.5 hours. The faster trains, Hikari and Nozomi do not stop at Toyohashi.
In the Tokai area including Toyohashi and Nagoya, there are many industries of forming processes, particularly automobile industry with Toyota Automobile Company as the leading one. The industry tours will be arranged.
The conference will be held at the convention center of Nikko Hotel International Toyohashi in Toyohashi, Japan. Free buses are available for the Nikko Hotel from the Toyohashi station in 10 minutes every 30 min.

Climate and Clothing
Toyohashi is a little hot and humid around the time of the conference. The average temperature in June is 23oC and average humidity is 60%. However, the highest temperature can reach 27oC. It is changeable time before the rainy season. Accordingly, light and casual clothing and an umbrella are appropriate. The conference site and all major hotels are air-conditioned.
